About Elizabeth Malouin

Inspired by people, places and experiences!

Elizabeth Malouin

Elizabeth Malouin was born in Toronto and raised in the beautiful lakeside city of Burlington. The eldest of four girls from Scottish/Italian and West Indian parents, a blended cultural heritage has set Elizabeth uniquely in her own Canadian culture. It wasn't until a few years after she relocated to the small picturesque village of a Midhurst, that Elizabeth made the decision to leave her career of over 20 years in the financial industry. In 2008 she was accepted at Georgian College in Barrie, and forged ahead into the world of Jewellery & Metals. Successfully completing the two year Jewellery & Metal Program and third year Goldsmith Program with honours, Elizabeth was also the recipient of many design awards. "Reinventing myself has been the most challenging and rewarding decision I have taken!"

The Artist

Inspired by people, places and experiences, Elizabeth creates striking and ethereal jewellery that possess the passion and exotic undertones within her pieces. Collections of shells, sea glass, corals and the brilliant blue-green hues if the Caribbean Sea combined with the historical colours and art from the masters of old world Europe, made for a very creative upbringing.

The combination of these colours, textures and organic shapes are some of the elements found in Elizabeth's unique work today and continue to inspire her.
